Kawasoti, December 4
A car used in the election campaigning of Nepali Congress General Secretary Shashanka Koirala in Devchuli of Nawalpurasi East district has been torched on Sunday night.
An unidentified group torched the vehicle used by the Nepali Congress candidate in Nawalparasi East-1 last night.
The car belonged to local Lal Kumar Shrestha. The vehicle was parked at his home while it was attacked.
Meanwhile, the District Police Office says it has arrested one person in connection with the accident.
Koirala is locking horns with the CPN-Maoist Centre candidate Bhabishwar Parajuli in his constituency.
