Naubise-Malekhu road section

Kathmandu, September 19

The Naubise-Malekhu road section of Prithvi Highway is to remain closed during the nighttime from September 21.

Authorities have confirmed that the road section between Simle and Malekhu is currently undergoing expansion by excavating rock cliffs. To facilitate this process, vehicular movement will be temporarily halted during the nighttime hours.

Chief District Officer of Dhading, Badrinath Gaire, has announced that construction work will be conducted from 11 pm to 3 am, requiring vehicles to be temporarily stopped in the Khayarghari and Pokharekhola areas. This arrangement will be in effect from September 21 to October 7.

A meeting of the stakeholders held on Monday decided to fully close the public and private vehicles in the nighttime except for the ambulance and security agencies.

Likewise, the officials have urged the passengers to travel only in the daytime from September 21 to October 7.
