Kathmandu, March 15
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-elected Chairman of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, at a special ceremony held at the President Office, Shital Niwas.
The Vice-president, the Prime Minister, the Acting Chief Justice, ministers, heads of constitutional bodies, the chiefs of the security bodies and high-ranking government officials attended the function.
CPN (UML) leader Timilsina was elected to the post by a meeting of the National Assembly on Wednesday.
