Kathmandu, March 7
Nepal’s national flag carrier, Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), has got approval to fly to Saudi Arabia.
The corporation spokesperson Archana Khadka says the Saudi Arabian civil aviation regulator issued the permit for the Nepal government-run company on Sunday. In a statement, Khadka says the authority handed over the licence to the NAC executive chairperson Ubaraj Adhikari at the corporation’s Saudi Arabia office in Riyadh.
With the approval, the corporation is preparing to start Kathmandu-Riyadh-Kathmandu flights regularly from April. It has been learned that there will be three flights a week.
