Kathmandu, November 24
A motorbike and SUV collision killed one person in Rupandehi on Friday.
The accident took place along the Balewas-Bethari road section in Naharpur when a motorbike (Lu 61 Pa 5508) collided with an SUV (Lu 1 Cha 7024).
Police said pillion 45-year-old Shaligram Khanal died in the accident. He was rushed to Lumbini Zonal Hospital where he breathed his last.
The motorbike rider, 25-year-old Shekhar Pokharel is critical and is undergoing treatment at a Medical College in Bhairahawa.
The police have arrested the SUV driver.
