2 killed in different motorbike accidents in Kathmandu valley

Kathmandu, February 15

Two persons died in different motorbike accidents in the Kathmandu valley on Monday night.

In Bagdole of Lalitpur, the rider of the motorbike (Province 2-030 Pa 9483), Ganesh Kumar Tharu (30), lost his control over the vehicle and hit a roadside railing, injuring himself. Tharu, a resident of the Banke district in Lumbini, died during treatment at the Patan Hospital at around 11:30 pm yesterday.

Pillion reader Indra Bhandari (30), a resident of Kailali, is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

In another accident, Devendra Karki (34), a resident of Dolakha, died as a bus (Ba 3 Kha 4765) hit a motorbike (Ba 61 Pa 6618), in Kamalbinayak Chyamasingh of Bhaktapur.

Seriously injured in the accident, the pillion rider died during treatment at the Madhyapur Thimi Hospital on Monday night, according to police.

Meanwhile, the biker Balaram Sunuwar (27) is injured and undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
