Minister says drivers involved in negligent driving will have licences scrapped

As per new regulations, driving licence of the driver will be cancelled if it is found that his/her negligence behind the wheel has caused death in road accident.

Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak, said this while responding to questions of public importance, in the Parliament, on Sunday. He said regulations have already been amended to make sure that drivers involved in negligent driving will have their driving licences cancelled.
