Most of the places across the country are likely to witness rainfall for three more days due to the influence of monsoon wind, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.

Meteorologist Prativa Manandhar says the monsoon would still remain active for the next three days as the low-pressure belt lies a little bit south of Nepal and the low-pressure system lies towards the northwest part of the Bay of Bengal.

Manandhar adds there is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall in most places of the country for the next three days.

The sky is now cloudy in the Gandaki province. Similarly, light to moderate rainfall is taking place in some places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

According to the department, heavy rainfall along with thunder has been forecast for a few places in the Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.

As per the latest details provided by the Meteorological Forecasting Division, today’s minimum temperature of the Kathmandu valley was measured at 21.1 degrees Celsius followed by the maximum temperature of 28.2 degrees Celsius.
