The weather in Nepal will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country today due to the influence of the westerly wind with the possibility of rain and snowfall in some places, the Meteorological Forecasting Division says.
Meteorologist Shanti Kandel says it would be cloudy throughout the country due to the influence of the low-pressure system with chances of light rain in one or two places of the hilly region and of light snowfall in some places of the mountainous region. According to the meteorologist, there is a possibility of light rain in most places in the country due to the impact of the wind.
The influence of the westerly wind is expected to gradually subside from Saturday. However, smog will remain.
“There should be heavy rain and high wind speed for the haze to clear up. There is no possibility of heavy rain for the time being,” Kandel says.
