As the marigolds bloom, the festive glow of Tihar has begun to grow. With the weather clear, marigolds planted in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley have made the surroundings even more beautiful. The yellow and orange flowers give the feeling that Tihar is near.
During Tihar, marigolds are used to decorate homes, make garlands and for worship.
