The Lions Club of Kathmandu recently organised ‘Induction and Installation Programme’ and felicitated acclaimed personalities and organisations for their contribution.
The Lions Club of Kathmandu Corporate Nepal presented the Lions Corporate Social Awards 2018 amid a function organised in the Capital on Saturday.
Of the various categories, the award for social banker was honoured to Rajan Singh Bhandari of Citizens Bank and social corporate personality was awarded to Bijay Shah of Nepal Insurance.
Abdullah Tuncer Kececi of Turkish Airlines bagged the award for Lions Corporate Airlines whereas Dhurmus Suntali Foundation received the award under the social charity organisation.
Similarly, Mahesh Acharya of The Himalayan Times bagged the award of social sports journalist whereas NRN Social Donor award was handed over to Kushal KC of Australia.
Likewise, the Social Disaster Management Award was conferred on the Armed Police Force.
The award for the business media category was conferred on New Business Age Pvt Ltd.
