Kathmandu, September 14
Li Zhanshu, the speaker of the Chinese National People’s Congress, on Wednesday morning visited Bhaktapur.
Li spent around an hour strolling around Bhaktapur Durbar Square quare carefully examining the architecture.
Li has come to Kathmandu on a four-day official visit at the invitation of House of Representatives Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota. He arrived on Monday.
On Tuesday, Li met National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina. He also met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and former prime ministers KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
Li is scheduled to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari later in the day.
