Kathmandu, July 12
Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit has been verbally attacked by some members from native and indigenous youth groups.
The incident occurred at the 19th meeting of the group in Jawalakhel of Lalitpur on Friday.
While the meeting was in progress, a few youth were standing outside with a black flag demanding the resignation of Pandit and the withdrawal of the Public Service Commission advertisement.
The group came inside the meeting, creating tension, after which the minister’s bodyguard took him out of the meeting hall.
The meeting was adjourned after the incident.
