Kathmandu, March 30
Two schoolgirls died after being hit by a tipper in Sundarijal on the northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu on Wednesday morning.
The victims have been identified as Shristi Ghising and Shreeya Ghising, students of the local World Youth International School. A tipper (Ba 4 Kha 6965) had hit the motorbike of the sisters’ father, where the girls were riding on the pillion.
Meanwhile, their father Rohan sustained injuries in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at the Nepal Medical College, Attarkhel.
Father Ghising claims the tipper driver reversed the vehicle to purposively kill the children.
Further investigation is underway.
