Kathmandu, December 7
A man died in a road accident in Koteshwar of Kathmandu in the wee hours of Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as Suraj Khanal (35), a resident of Thimi in the neighbouring Bhaktapur district.
His motorbike (Bagmati Province-02-027 Oa 5937) had hit a stationary truck (Na 6 Kha 3158) on the road at around 2:15 am today, police inform. He then had fallen off the bike and got seriously injured.
Hours later, he breathed his last during treatment at the Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital in Sinamangal.
Police have arrested the truck driver for further investigation.
