Karnali Governor (Province Chief) Govinda Prasad Kalauni has contracted Covid-19, his office confirms on Thursday.
The governor’s personal secretary Chuda Mani KC says Kalauni was tested for coronavirus after some staffers of his office, who were in Kalauni’s contact, contracted the disease earlier.
“Currently, his health is fine. He has isolated himself at home under the supervision of doctors,” informs KC.
Swab samples of various officials at the Governor’s Office were collected for the coronavirus tests on Wednesday. Of them, nine tested positive today.
