Dhangadhi, January 17
A woman has died after being hit by a motorbike at Baliya, Lamkichuha municipality-4 of the Kailali district in Sudurpaschim on Monday.
Following the accident, locals have obstructed the road demanding action against the biker and compensation to the victim’s family.
The 55-year-old Mansara Neupane, a local, had been hit by the two-wheeler (Se 6 Pa 8786) along the East-West Highway earlier today. Seriously injured in the accident, she breathed her last during treatment at the Kohalpur Medical College in Banke, informs the Provincial Traffic Police Office.
Following the death, locals have been staging a demonstration on the road and burning tyres, thereby obstructing the road, according to police.
