Joint meeting of lower, upper houses to endorse regulation today

Kathmandu, June 17

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has called a joint meeting of House of Representatives and National Assembly for Sunday afternoon.

Upon an recommendation from the Cabinet, President Bidya Devi Bhandari has summoned the joint meeting for 4 pm today.

The meeting will endorse a regulation prepared to convene joint meetings of two houses as well as meetings of joint parliamentary committees.

The endorsement will follow endorsements of regulations of House of Representatives and National Assembly.

Meanwhile, both the houses will hold their separate meetings also today. The meetings will continue ongoing discussions on the Appropriation Bill.
