Janakpur, August 7
Acting on a special tip-off, police recently arrested six people with weapons in Banshi Chok, Janakpur.
Nakul Pokharel, deputy superintendent of police, said investigations into the arrested persons are on. He said police will inform about the whole saga by organising a press conference on Sunday.
According to a source, police seized some modern weapons and two countrymade pistols from the six people. Police arrested the six persons while they were hatching a plot to steal, the source said.
They are members of a gang involved in cases of stealing, the source informed, adding that police have also seized liquor and stolen goods from the gang.
