Kathmandu, May 12

Beema Samiti (The Insurance Board), the insurance regulator of the country, has directed all insurance companies in the country to shut their branch offices across the country until May 27.

Considering the rapid surge in Covid-19 cases in the country, the board decided to close all the offices from Thursday. It will be in effect until May 27.

If needed, the companies can open their corporate offices only during the period, informs the board’s Executive Director Raju Raman Paudel.
