Indonesian club contracts Rohit Chand again

Nepal national football player Rohit Chand signs a contract with Indonesia’s Persija Jakarta, in March 2019.

Kathmandu, March 5

Indonesian football club, Persija Jakarta, has signed a contract with Nepali national football player Rohit Chand for next one season again.

Sources say the club has agreed to pay him around 80 per cent more than his salary in the previous season. However, the exact amount of his pay has not been revealed.

The footballer’s brother, Robin, informs media that the player signed the contract with the club recently.

Chand was awarded the most valuable player of the team last season when they became the league champions. It has been learned that he has already established himself as a significant member of the club.

His last contract had expired in December 2018.

Chand has been played for this club since 2013, continuously except in 2016.
