A new airline company has been added to the country’s domestic civil aviation as Guna Airlines says it will start regular flights from this Thursday.

The company says it will use seven aeroplanes initially. To kick off the commercial journey, the company says it will operate flights from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Bharatpur.

The company’s spokesperson Prajwal Thapa says destinations such as Simara, Bhairahawa, Tumlingtar, Janakpur, Nepalgunj, Surkhet and Biratnagar will be added in the next few days.

Thapa says the company has targeted to get a significant number of travellers in the run-up to Dashain, the biggest festival of Nepalis. He adds the company’s tickets will be available at competitive prices.
