Gulmi, June 17
Police in the Gulmi district of Lumbini have arrested a school teacher on the charge of child sexual abuse.
The teacher of Pratibha Basic School in Rurukshetra rural municipality-3 of the district has been arrested on the charge of abusing a three-grader of his school during the school time.
DSP Madhav Raj Kharel of the District Police Office says the teacher was arrested after the survivor’s guardians filed a complaint.
Further investigation is underway.
