Gulmi, August 6
A landslide in Bishauna, Musikot Municipality-1 in Gulmi has resulted in the death of four people and injuries to two others.
According to Inspector Ramkumar KC from the District Police Office in Gulmi, the landslide buried two houses, leading to the fatalities.
The deceased have been identified as 48-year-old Gore BK, 67-year-old Hukam BK, 2.5-year-old Riyansa BK, and 66-year-old Masuri BK.
Two individuals, Muna BK and Bishnu BK, who were trapped in the landslide, have been rescued by locals and sent to a health post for treatment.
On Tuesday morning, the landslide, which included debris from above the houses, buried the homes of Bishnu BK and Hukam BK. Continuous rainfall has been reported in Gulmi since the night before.
