Kathmandu, April 22
The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that the Grade 12 exams, scheduled to begin on April 24, will not be postponed.
The decision was made during a board meeting held Tuesday morning. NEB Chairperson Mahashram Sharma confirmed that the exams will proceed as planned, despite ongoing protests by teachers and staff and the recent resignation of Education Minister Bidya Bhattarai.
The board has directed all district-level examination coordination committees to ensure that designated exam centers are prepared to conduct the examinations smoothly.
Examination Controller Krishna Prasad Sharma also urged students to prepare without hesitation. “The exams will take place. We encourage all students to study with confidence,” he said.
