Gold prices reach a record high, trading at Rs 113,600/tola

Kathmandu, July 20

Gold prices in the Nepali market reached a record high on Thursday.

As of the market price set by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, a tola of the fine precious yellow metal (24 carats) costs Rs 113,600.

Earlier on June 2, gold was traded at Rs 113,300 setting a new record. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 113,100.

The price of gold has gone up by Rs 500 per tola on Thursday.

Silver is trading today at Rs 1,495 per tola. On Wednesday, silver was traded at Rs 1,490 per tola.
