The price of gold increased on Sunday, rising by Rs 700 per tola compared to the previous day.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Associations, the price of fine gold has been set at Rs 239,700 per tola for today, up from Rs 239,000 on Friday, when it had already risen by Rs 2,700 per tola.
Earlier, on October 17, gold had reached a record high of Rs 258,000 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver has decreased by Rs 5 per tola compared to the previous day and is now being traded at Rs 3,055 per tola.
