Gandaki Province government has decided to provide Rs 40 million in assistance for the support of Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi flood victims.
Issuing a press release today, Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey shared that the decision was taken to deposit such an amount in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund. Chief Minister Pandey mentioned that the Gandaki Province government has been coordinating with bodies concerned for the search of the missing people and appropriate management of dead bodies.
“I request all the bodies concerned to be effectively mobilised for the search, rescue efforts, treatment for injured ones, safe shelter for homeless and affected people and make necessary arrangements for relief,” reads the statement.
