Kathmandu, January 19
Ashika Tamang is set to contest the election from Dhading-1. She will run as a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
On Monday, RSP leader Ganesh Parajuli handed over the party ticket to Tamang at the party office. Actively involved in various social campaigns, Tamang had earlier expressed dissatisfaction on social media over RSP’s proportional representation ticket distribution.
Tamang, who has been raising funds to support the families of those injured and killed during the Gen Z movement, has ultimately been fielded as a candidate by the RSP.
