Bhaktapur, October 31
Dattatreya Museum caught fire in course of celebrating Dipawali, the festival of lights, in Bhaktapur, on Monday.
The fire destroyed three artistic windows of the museum located close to Dattatreya Temple. Local people and police extinguished the fire that started at around 3 am on Tuesday.
Police, citing a preliminary probe, claimed that the fire originated from diya (earthen lamps) lit to celebrate Dipawali.
