Mahendranagar, May 16
Three persons died when a vehicle used in the CPN-UML’s local election victory rally crashed at Myagni, Shailyashikhar municipality-9 of the Darchula district in Sudurpaschim on Monday.
The van (Se 1 Ja 277) heading towards Myagni from Gokuleshwar of the district had fallen off the road and plunged into a stream, informs DSP Prateek Bista of the District Police Office.
Whereas one of the victims is yet to be identified, the two others are Prakash Dhami and Nabin Singh Dhami, residents of Shailyashikhar-6. Nabin was behind the wheel during the accident.
The vehicle was used to fetch the UML cadres from Gokuleshwar of Darchula.
