The CPN-UML has registered the party for the purpose of the House of Representatives election.
Chief of the Election Department, Niraj Acharya, and Office Secretary Bhishma Adhikari submitted the party registration application at the Election Commission.
After the registration, Department Chief Acharya said that since the UML is a party that completes the legal procedures required for all types of elections, the party has been registered accordingly.
The deadline for registering parties for the purpose of the House of Representatives election is November 26. As of Monday, 64 parties had registered for election purposes. UML has been registered as party number 66.
After the registration, Acharya said that they are ready for elections whenever they are held, and that the party registration has been done under this provision.
The number of parties registered with the Election Commission has reached 135. Of these, the parties that register for election purposes will be eligible to participate in the election.
