Biratnagar, August 17
The Communist Party of Nepal has finalised the names of ministers who will join the Koshi Province government. Following internal discussions, the party finalised the names of four ministers and one state minister on Monday afternoon.
According to CPN Koshi Province in-charge Rajendra Rai, Jivan Acharya will be given responsibility for the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development. He had also served as a minister previously.
Gita Timsina will be appointed Minister for Social Development. Gombu Sherpa will take charge of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, while Khinu Langwa Limbu will be given responsibility for the Ministry of Tourism, Forests and Environment.
Sapana Darji will be appointed State Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development. According to Province in-charge Rai, the newly appointed ministers will take the oath of office today.
