Kathmandu, February 23
The government has accelerated the construction of Covid-19 vaccine storehouse in eight locations of the country.
The Ministry of Urban Development has forwarded the construction of a storehouse in each of all the seven provinces and one at the central level for safe and appropriate management of the vaccines.
The storehouses will be constructed in the following locations:
- Province 1: Biratnagar
- Province 2: Janakpur
- Bagmati: Hetaunda
- Gandaki: Kaski
- Lumbini: Butwal
- Karnali: Surkhet
- Sudurpaschim: Dhangadhi
- Central storehouse: Pathalaiya, Bara
The Health Building Division Chief of Department of Urban Development and Building Construction under the ministry, Saroj Poudel, says Rs 96 million would be invested to construct the storehouses.
