Indian-Gas

Pokhara, April 25

Police on Sunday arrested a cooking gas dealer from his shop in Ram Bazaar, Pokhara-10, with 160 cylinders of NL Gas.

Police arrested Ashok Goshali, the proprietor of Goshali Utensils Store, on the charge of black marketing of cooking gas. They had raided the store, acting on a tip-off that Goshali had been selling a cylinderful of gas for a whopping Rs 4,500, way above the normal price of a bottled gas cylinder — Rs 1,400.

Police are investing Goshali’s involvement in black marketing of cooking gas under the Black Marketing Act.
