Pokhara, July 6

A Yeti Airlines aircraft skipped an accident at the Pokhara Airport this afternoon as the plane’s nose wheel got locked while landing.

The 607-9NAJC jet aircraft had left Kathmandu with passengers.

Pokhara Airport Chief Bhola Prasad Guragain says the incident recorded at 1:18 pm, however, did not leave any impact.

“After the wheel got locked,” he says, “The aircraft could not be turned. But nothing happened.”

After the incident, the Airport was closed for around an hour as the aircraft was stuck on the runway.

Guragain said a technical team removed the aircraft from the runway a while ago.
