Kathmandu, November 23
Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, held a meeting with the executive chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, on Monday.
Hou had gone to Dahal’s residence in Khumaltar of Lalitpur to meet Dahal. It is said that the two discussed various issues of bilateral concerns.
The meeting takes place at a time when Dahal is at odds with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli in the ruling party.
The ambassador is often blamed for interfering into the internal affairs of the party. She had recently met Oli also.
