Three children hailing from eastern Chitwan have been missing since Friday.
The missing children are Aswin Dhamala of Kholesimal, Kalika municipality-6, Thomas Lamichhane of Gurauchaur, Kalika-6, and Raju Gurung of Lankaline, Kalika-8. The three, students of Siddhivinayak higher secondary boarding school, had left their homes for school on Friday morning.
Jayaraj Sapkota, deputy superintendent of police at Tandi area police office, said police have initiated a search for the three based on a complaint from their parents.
The parents have asked all concerned to contact and notify police office nearby immediately if they happen to see the three children.
