Mahottari, July 21
Chief Election Commissioner Ayodhee Prasad Yadav has said that the local level elections in Province 2 will take place on September 18 as scheduled.
Speaking at a press meet organised here today, CEC Yadav urged all not to suspect over the timely elections in Terai. He further shared that the Commission was preparing all requirements for the elections.
On a query of media regarding the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal’s participation in the elections, Yadav expressed confidence that the party would take part in the polls this time.
CEC Yadav also inspected the Mahottari District Election Commission office in Jaleshwar today.
