For service-seekers, Bir Hospital has some good news to offer. Now on, patients and their attendants will no longer have to queue up for hours to get tickets.

For ease of the public, the hospital has put up a display board. As per the new system, service-seekers have to get coupons first. Once the board displays the number printed on the coupon, the person concerned can show up at the ticket counter and get the ticket, according to the hospital administration.

Patients and their caretakers can wait for their turn by sitting on chairs at the waiting lounge instead of having to stand up and wait in long queues for their turn.

Bir has huge pressure of patients, meaning people have had to line up for hours to get tickets.

Minister for Health Gagan Thapa had visited Bir Hospital right after assuming office. He had directed staff to keep the hospital clean.

Minister Thapa had also directed government hospitals ot make health services accessible to all in view of patients’ pressure.
