Kalaiya, April 28
A Nepal Army staffer died after getting impaled by an iron rod in Bara.
The deceased has been identified as Raj Kumar Ram of Nepal Army Kasara barracks, Nawalparasi. The resident of Majhailiya of Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-16 suffered a fatal accident as he was on the way to Kalaiya from Birgunj on a motorcycle.
He accidentally got pierced by the iron rod loaded on a tractor at Sisahaniya of Kalaiya sub-metropolitan city-24 in Bara and died on the spot.
Following the accident, police have arrested tractor driver Ramesh Tiwari (32) of Tikuliya of Dewahi Gonahi municipality-5 in the Rautahat district, SP Hobindra Bogati said.
