Bangladeshi President arrives in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, November 12

Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid has arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday on a four-day tour to Nepal. President Hamid is paying a goodwill visit to Nepal upon an invitation from President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

President Hamid leads a 52-member delegation which will stay in Nepal till November 15.

During his time here, he will be calling on President Bhandari on Wednesday where he will also attend a state banquet organised in his honour.

He will then call on PM KP Sharma Oli, NCP co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and opposition leader Sher Bahadur Deuba. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed further informed that Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali and Chairperson of the National Assembly Ganesh  Timilsina will also meet the Bangladeshi President.

During his stay in Nepal, President Hamid will also visit Pokhara and historical, archaeological and cultural sites in the Kathmandu Valley.
