The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority – CIAA is issuing a summons Friday asking more people involved in the Lalita Niwas land grab case to record their statements.
The anti-graft body is summoning Ram Kumar Subedi, Shobakant Dhakal, and Hupendra Mani KC–the three main suspects in the case.
The CIAA on Wednesday issued a public notice asking 86 people to record their statements. A notice was also issued on Thursday asking Kalyan Gurung, Uma Kumari Dhakal and Madhavi Subedi to visit the CIAA.
According to the probe team’s report, Min Bahadur Gurung, Shobakant Dhakal and Ram Prasad Subedi acquired the government-owned land with the help of officials from land revenue office Hupendra Mani KC and Tika Ghimire.
