Prime Minister Balen Shah has begun discussions with the chiefs of the country’s security agencies over the crisis triggered by flooding in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, Shah is holding discussions with the heads of the security agencies on measures to address the crisis caused by the flooding.
Shah earlier received a briefing from Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel on the search, rescue, relief and management efforts carried out so far.
The prime minister is also scheduled to receive briefings from the chiefs of Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force on Monday.
According to his secretariat, Shah will shortly receive a briefing from Armed Police Force Inspector General Narayan Dutta Poudel, followed by a briefing from Nepal Police Inspector General Dan Bahadur Karki.
