Kathmandu, August 31
A meeting took place at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Singha Durbar, between Prime Minister Balendra Shah and Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the ruling RSP party.
The meeting discussed the government’s ongoing search, rescue, relief distribution, and citizen-management efforts in areas affected by the flood on Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River.
Discussions also covered the rescue and relief of affected citizens, as well as the reconstruction of damaged infrastructure.
Prime Minister Shah informed Lamichhane that government machinery had been mobilised at full capacity to protect citizens’ lives and property, ensure smooth access to relief supplies, and support reconstruction in the disaster-affected areas.
