Birgunj, November 27
One person died in a road accident in the Bara district of southern Nepal.
An autorickshaw (Province 2-03-001 Ha 433) heading hit Sanumaya Ghising (40), at Thadoline, Nijgadh municipality-9 of the district last night.
Seriously injured in the accident, she was taken to Birgunj-based Neuro Hospital, where she breathed her last during treatment this morning, according to DSP Rajesh Thapa of the District Police Office.
Police have arrested the rickshaw driver, Lok Bahadur Ale Magar (25), a resident of Nijgadh-8, for further investigation and action.
