ASUS has recently released its flagship models for 2023, ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. ASUS continued its ultimate gaming phone series ROG Phone and has brought changes from its previous phones such as ROG 6 and ROG 6 Pro. ASUS’s gaming phones are always the talk of the town whenever they are released due to the specs and the design offered are, in their own league.
This year’s ASUS ROG 7 and ROG 7 Ultimate have almost the same specification but differ in some places such as external back display, cooling and price.

Design and display
In terms of detail and design, ASUS never holds back. ROG Phone 7 Ultimate looks stunning from the back with the different shades of white. The triple camera setup is also enclosed in an abstract shape with rings around the main camera.
The main focus on the back is the small 2-inch OLED back display, which has six customisable scenarios. It also displays other details such as phone battery, charging status, incoming calls, and X-mode activation. There is also a turquoise-coloured hybrid sim card tray giving the aesthetic vibe a plus point.
It has an aluminium frame and the back is protected with the use of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The back also has a small vent called the Aeroactive Portal, which activates automatically when the AeroActive Cooler is attached.
ASUS ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has a 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED display. The resolution is 2448 X 1080 pixels with a huge refresh rate of 165Hz.
