Another corruption case has been filed at the Special Court against former prime minister and NCP leader Madhav Kumar Nepal. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed the case, alleging corruption through a Cabinet decision to register public land as omitted land.
The CIAA claims it found irregularities in the registration of omitted public land in the Biratnagar area. The case is in the process of being registered by the court.
A case against Nepal over the Patanjali land affair is also pending at the Special Court.
