Dhangadhi, October 11
Four persons died whereas 14 others sustained injuries in a road accident in Panchadewal Binayak municipality-1 of the Achham district in Sudurpaschim on Sunday night.
The SUV (Se 1 Cha 1763) fell around 200 metres down the road while the driver was reversing the vehicle on a dirt track at around 11 last night. It was carrying wedding attendants.
The victims have been identified as Jeevan Jaisi (18), Sarva Bohara (18), Jeevan Neupane (21), and Himal Nepali (17), residents of Panchadewal Binayak municipality-3 of the district, informs the Sudurpaschim Provincial Traffic Police Office.
Jaisi died on the spot whereas three others breathed their last during treatment at a nearby health facility, according to police.
Meanwhile, the 14 injured people have been taken to Nepalgunj of Banke for further treatment. Police say some of them are serious.
Police state the driver is unidentified and further investigation is underway.
