Two persons were killed when a vehicle whose number plate is not known hit a motorcycle in Mahalakshmi Municipality-6, Lubhu, Lalitpur.
The police said that the couple riding the motorcycle with the number plate Ba 29 Pa 9485 died when a vehicle hit the motorcycle on Wednesday night.
The deceased are 43-year-old Dinesh Shrestha and his wife Sangita Shrestha, 37, of Mahalakshmi-8 Lubhu. They died during treatment at KIST Medical College Teaching Hospital, Imadol.
The police have seized the suspect vehicle involved in the accident from a field in Lubhu and are currently looking for the absconding vehicle diver.
